The News

Jane Velez-Mitchell, former host “Jane Velez-Mitchell” on HLN (Headline News Network), has created a new show dedicated to animal rights. On “Jane Unchained,” Velez-Mitchell, who has been America’s most prominent spokesperson for animal rights, reports on the day’s news with the same dedication and emotion that turned this TV news anchor into an icon in the animal rights movement.

Donny Moss from TheirTurn was lucky enough to a guest on her first two shows. On the first show, Velez-Mitchell and Moss discuss the impact of meat on the climate, the horse-drawn carriage fiasco in NYC and how a single issue can draw caring people into a cruelty-free lifestyle.

Maybe they should put away all the operators of Factory Farms. In a given year, the typical American will cause the death of 30 land animals, and 28 chickens, by eating meat. And these animals aren’t just killed, they effectively live lives of constant torture and suffering — not directly at the hands of the people who eat them, but at the hands of the meat producers who sell them. There are hundreds maybe thousands of wild animals poached on a daily basis, Rhinos, tigers, elephants, gorillas just to name a few and nobody makes a fuss about that. This is not about the poor lion Cecil, it is about the bad dentist. If you hypocrites would fight for all animals, maybe something would be accomplished.

No dead animal could ever justify either you retaliatory buffoons acting like a pack of frenzied hyenas upon a man who shot a lion or the scores of drooling trolls flocking to Twitter to fantasize about all of the creative and violent things they’d love to do to him. “Before his death, Cecil lived a full, natural life eating healthy food, running free and fucking his brains out, unlike the animals you buy in nice little packages at the supermarket that have all been the subjects of industrialized torture.” Wes Siler 7/29/15
Save your flowers and teddy bears for the empty stalls that housed animals who were force fed, beaten and hung by their feet as their throats were slashed so you could chug down your BigMac with a chocolate milkshake.

So if you are demanding his extradition to a country who happily takes your cash for the privilege of wacking a lion, and whose residents not only never heard of Cecil but have no idea what all the fuss is about, the U.S. does not extradite people to countries with corrupt gov’t., and, if by some crazy fluke he was extradited, a good wad of cash delivered into the right hands will have him on a plane back to the U.S. in no time.

By the way, does Mia Farrow eat dairy?

    1. No wonder Jane got her show cancelled. She is a bully a past drunk. She has no reason whatsover saying anything about the Trump’s kids. I’m glad she is off the air. I wish they would never put her on the air. I saw her tonight on Dr. Drew. Glad she is gone

Have tweeted Jane a couple of times the last couple of days. Hoping she can provide some coverage on the plight of Chai/Bamboo from the Woodland Zoo in Seattle. Now being transferred to the OKC zoo instead of a sanctuary.
    Thank You

This is a great website. However, I would love if you would investigate and do a story on the NYCACC AND ALL THE ANIMALS that are killed that would of been viable, adoptable animals. They kill kittens as young as two days old, and 4 weeks old. Some of them do not even have their eyes open. These are the animals in need, just some of them.

From: Naomi Semeniuk: This is a dynamite website & so is the interview with Donny Moss & Jane Velez Mitchell. This will be a life altering website & so will Jane’s new animal rights program. Veganism will be promoted like never before. I was horrified to learn about the violent death of the Tasmanian devil who’s a loving creature. These names that demonize animals must stop. I was also horrified to learn that some dogs were KICKED & PUNCHED at the White House! I don’t have all of the details but you can look into it. The dogs who were punched & kicked were sent to the vet & survived. This is ghastly! Yesterday October 22,2014 on Gary Null’s radio program, Philip Whellen a brilliant pro animal pro veganism speaker said that there can be no peace on the planet unless there’s an end to animal violence which is as he described an animal holocaust on the planet. The video on Barney the spooked horse is chilling. The opposers were critical of my tweets of having a carriage horse in the Climate Change march saying that the horse was relaxed? No spooking horse is ever relaxed & if the carriage horse industry keeps saying this, they’re stupidly delusional & in critical denial of the in your face FACTS. Naomi Semeniuk

My email to Australia was returned as undeliverable.
I don’t want to discuss this horror. As I have said a million times. People are no damn good! (At least, some of them.)

  8. JZ says:

I don’t Facebook so hopefully I can still get you full program. Happy you & your PIL (PartnerInLife) are animal sensitve; my respect for you grows. But I miss your daily show. You plan on returning?
