Hunter Arrested For Attacking Protester

September 3, 2014 by Leave a Comment

The News

The British hunter who trampled a protester with his horse her has been arrested. According to the Hunt Saboteur’s Association, the victim had seven broken ribs and a possible collapsed lung. The “master” of the hunt, Mike Felton, said, “We deeply regret any accident or incident that happens to anyone who is hurt.” Clearly, his remorse about “anyone” being hurt is reserved for humans – not for the foxes who are torn to pieces by hounds during their illegal hunt.

Your Turn

Hunting with hounds was outlawed in the U.K. in 2005, but it carries on due to lack of enforcement. As a result, activists continue to sabotage the hunt to protect the animals, often wearing masks to hide their identities from the notoriously violent hunters. Please thank and support these activists who risk their safety and freedom to protect wild animals from their killers.

Uh, the hunt was in no way “illegal”.
Maybe in your fevered imagination …?

  2. Bev says:

Whilst I do not condone this, your article is factually incorrect. The ambulance service have released a statement to say they were not blocked or delayed in getting to the person concerned. This should be corrected in your report.

    1. Donny Moss says:

Thank you! Fixed. I didn’t see the statement.

  3. Jackie McMahon says:

It is time for the hunters to act like grown people and not to commit to violence and aggression. It is time for them to allow animals to live in their habitats and not to be hunted down. How would they like it done to them? Treat all life as we would like to be treated, thats how I was brought up.

there is a ban on hunting with hounds. the police. rather than enforce the anti-hunt law, instead target hunt monitors and hunt saboteurs. I’ve been run over, threatened with violence and intimidation. I’ve also had my vehicle stopped and searched and have been ‘patted down’ by the police. I’m going up to monitor the badger cull in a few days time and fully expect more of the same. But it has to be done.

  5. Richard Paine says:

Call me cynical. Crown Prosecution Services “CPS” more likely to drop case on grounds off: not in the public interests. Not enough evidence, or some such bull. No faith in police or judiciary.

  6. Amanda says:

I’m glad he was arrested. I’ve spoken to hunters before, and they really feel it’s their right to hunt. They have all sorts of justifications that make no sense. Activists risk their lives standing up to these people and for that I do thank them.

Now put his miserable ass in prison! Not jail! PRISON! He is scum that needs to be held accountable! He can not go around thinking that he is above the law! These “things” need to be STOPPED
