Fox Hunters Block Ambulance After Crashing into Protester

The News

After using a horse to crash into a protester (saboteur) at an illegal fox hunt in the U.K., hunters blocked the road with their vehicles to prevent the ambulance from attending to the victim, who broke five ribs. The attack was caught on camera, and the footage will be turned over to the authorities.

People who hunt and kill for sport are, by definition, violent. It should therefore come as no surprise that some hunters also attack people who get in their way. In this video, hunters punch protesters who are  blocking an illegal dig-out of a fox who is hiding in a hole.

Your Turn

Hunting with hounds was outlawed in the U.K. in 2005, but it continues due to lack of enforcement. As a result, the 51 year old Hunt Saboteurs Association continues to operate, “protecting our wildlife from the ‘sportsmen’ who get their kicks from killing.”

The police are so accustomed to protecting the hunters that the saboteurs must continue to wear masks to protect their identities. Unsurprisingly, the activists, who engage in non-violent tactics to save lives, continue to be vilified as “terrorists” by lawmakers and the media while the illegal hunters are portrayed as the victims. One way to thank and help the hunt saboteurs who put their safety on the line for the animals is to support their life-saving work.

WHEN SLEAZEBALL HUNTERS OF SMALL DEFENSELESS CREATURES BECOME LEGALLY
PREVENTED FROM DOING SO…….THAT IS WHEN I’LL BELIEVE WE’VE ACTUALLY BECOME
    CIVILIZED….AMEN!

leave them alone (animal rights protesters and animals alike)

  3. Royston says:

It comes as no surprise that this protester was refused vital medical care by these hunters. These people revel in the suffering of small animals and are mentally unstable. This was an illegal hunt, fox hunting remains an illegal activity.I’m sure after this case the hunt can expect a lot more sabs in the future to put a stop to their illegal activities.

Sarah. Why would them “breaking into” your yard to gain access to a field cause your horses to “nearly die”. Were they running around loose in your yard? That cannot be safe! Maybe put them into their stables in future.

    1. Sarah says:

They were breaking into our yard due to the fact that we allow the hunt to run through and only the hunt, it is not open to any old person. Like I said we caught them spraying harmful substances on the fields to cover up the foxes scent.
The point I was trying to get across is that the protester turned violent against us, so protester can be violent to.

  5. Sarah says:

How this arcticle has presented all people that hunt to be “violent” is wrong.
Protester are the reason why serveral horses on my yard nearly died after they thought they would brake into our yard and spray substances on the fields to cover up a foxes scent. Then the protester turned violent against us after we asked them to leave.
So sometimes the protester are the killers themselves.

    1. Donny Moss says:

You are correct. All hunters are not violent. For instance, some people hunt for mushrooms. Those who hunt, chase, terrorize and kill sentient beings, however, are violent. I’m sorry about your yard.

    2. Sara Johnson says:

Hunting is violence… you are being violent towards an innocent anima people who hunt and watch an innocent defencelesss animal getting ripped apart are definitely taking part in a violent act… and are criminals as hunting is illegal

  6. Denise Bongiovanni says:

I’ve never really understood hunting, or how it’s a “sport”. I hope this footage helps to prosecute these hunters not only for the illegal hunt but also for attacking the protestor.
