A Nuanced Look at “Zoophilia”

The News

A new documentary film about efforts by animal rights activists to ban beastiality (zoophilia) in Denmark shines a spotlight on the one “zoophile,” Oliver Burdinski, who was willing to speak on camera. In an in depth interview, Mr. Burdinski argues that animals can consent through physical cues and that he, not his dog, is the passive partner. The opposite, he says, would be cruel.

Mr. Burdinski speaks very candidly about his experience: “When I was 14 or 15, I wasn’t sure if it was right, so I tried to get human partners. But I was not happy with them. I tried to be normal. In 1994, I got internet and realized that I’m not alone.”

The video below is the in-depth interview. To see the new documentary, which is very interesting, click the link at the top of the story.

Opinion

Mr. Burdinski says he did not choose to be a zoophile; he insists that it’s his sexual orientation. He reminds me of a childhood neighbor who is now in prison for pedophilia. His parents told me his addiction to “touching boys” was kept in check by high doses of an antidepressant, but, when he reduced his dose due to side effects, the urges came back. I don’t know if he has OCD or if his sexual orientation is pedophilia. Either way, he is a very nice guy born with a very big problem. Sad for him. Sad for his victims.

Unlike my childhood neighbor, who has not spoken publicly about his struggles, Mr. Burdinski is very brave to be the public face of zoophilia and to educate the public about the issue. Even though a ban on zoophilia cannot be enforced in peoples’ homes, I do think it should be outlawed in order to end animal sex tourism in Denmark. I can’t believe that even exists! Then again, Denmark is home to one of the cruelest events on earth – “The Grind” – during which 800 pilot whales are rounded up and brutally slaughtered each year in the Faroe Islands.

  1. For the defenders that put the excuse “meat-slaughters are worse!”

I’m sorry to inform ya, animals also slaughter eachother in nature, natural selection and everything ya know? Buying an lab at someone/zoo/store/etc. to fuck it day in-out is nothing but a sad rape story, animals shouldn’t have sex that much, but I think humans are likely to fuck ’em all day..

For the defenders second known excuse “but it’s okay to accept homosexuality? Gross!”

There’s also homosexuality in the zoophile community, so I guess it automatically makes it even more fucked up.

For the defenders third excuse “it’s safe! No pregnancy or STD’s!!”

Their ignorancy just gets sadder and sadder, do ya even know where HIV/AIDS, syphilis, herpes, brucellosis etc. came from? Oh yeah.. FROM RAPING ANIMALS!!! AIDS from monkeys and I think syphilis from goats or something.. and ya want to know something else? Why do ya think ya can get pregnant pathetic fucks? BECAUSE WE SHOULD USE IT!!!!

Judgmental bunch of fucks, aintcha? You’ll literally swallow “transgender” and all the other lib crap being run up the flag pole, but you can’t believe a person is naturally attracted to a dog, goat, or horse? Based on the small sampling here, animals are WAY more desirable than many humans. Go fuck yourself, but only if it is consensual and moral.

You beautiful human being. You are truly a diamond among the fecal waste known as humanity. I don’t even care that your post is more than 2 years old. Thank you.

  3. Jackie says:

They are not born that way. They choose to engage in sexual acts with animals a) they lack self-esteem or capacity to initiate sexual relationships with other PEOPLE, or b) they are messed up in the head. Either way, you are NOT born this way and to say that you are or to believe that someone is born this way, is a disgrace to human beings everywhere. Humans are meant to engage sexually with other humans. Sexual orientation is between human beings, not animals. There is a reason why we (human beings vs. animals) are distinguished and not one in the same.

    1. Sh1tzor says:

Eww, you’re a very nihilistic person if you believe that. It’s no wonder some person would rather be stuck in a relationship with a dog than some miserable broad like you who says evil shit like that.

  4. Rina Deych, RN says:

It reminds me of the rapist who claims “she was askin’ for it.” I don’t believe animals would seek out sex with humans naturally. Clearly, it’s the human (if you want to call him that) who initiates the acts with the other animal. This is exploitation, period, and should be banned worldwide.

    1. Donny Moss says:

Great point about animal not seeking out sex with humans. I thought it was interesting that zoophile said he doesn’t initiate. If his dog (“partner”) doesn’t want to have sex, they don’t have sex. But that begs the question, how would a dog initiate sex with a human? What are the mechanics? The whole issue seems a bit crazy, but zoophilia must be much more common than we think. I feel sorry for the animals, who I believe are being exploited, but I also feel sorry for people who have these desires. Many zoophiles must be born with it because why else would they choose it?

Bingo. As for the exploitation tidbit, what if I informed you that the things the meat and science industries do to animals make sex look like a walk in the park?

  5. Denise Bongiovanni says:

I never even heard of it being called zoophile. This is really sad for the animals.
